Job Details:
Under general supervision, works independently on the design, deployment and maintenance of the organization s data center and IT infrastructure. The position requires broad knowledge and experience in the areas of local and wide area networking, server management, network security, voice and data communications, and data storage/backup. The position serves as a senior technical resource for the entire infrastucture team both for day-to-day problem escalation and long term planning of the IT infrastructure. Bachelor s degree from an accredited college in related technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems Management) preferred but required upon proven experience with certification. Cisco professional certification (CCTA) or equivalent required. Microsoft MSCE or MCITS certification a plus. 7 years experience with progressive responsibilities and proven experience in Windows/Intel environment supporting TCP/IP networks, telecommunications, and Windows/Intel servers. Proven experience and success with LAN, WAN, WLAN, and WWAN design and implementation in a Cisco-centric network environment. Proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices. Proven experience with systems planning, security principles, and general software management best practices. Experience with VMWare virtualized server and VDI/View platforms, HP blade servers and management software, Citrix XenApp hosting environment, storage area networks (SAN) technologies (preferably HP EVA), writing ADSI scripts for active directory management, development and management of AD group policies. Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager preferred. Knowledge of legal best practices for data privacy and security, preferably in health care environment.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
