A Buyer Assistant II will support a group of buyers with daily administrative tasks related to the buying function, including filing, item maintenance, PO expediting, reports, and other duties as may be necessary to accomplish this undertaking in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment.
Adjust, cancel, and expedite the allocations as received by the customer account, buyers and ad analysts.
Organize and send various reports.
Gather new product and vendor information via fax machine, e-mail, etc. and enter it into the mainframe system.
Maintain items and vendors information to include organizing their bills, and PO's and updating their prices.
Adjust, cancel, push and expedite the purchase orders that have been received from the customers by communicating with the buyers/customers and various other departments.
General office duties such as filing, faxing, answering the telephones, etc.
Sort Reports from the printer.
There may be other duties assigned to you as needed by your supervisor.
Outstanding attention to detail.
Must be a Team Player.
Multitasking as well as prioritizing work.
Ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing and sometimes stressful atmosphere.
Basic computer skills.
Familiar with MS Word and Excel.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
