A Scheduler I will be a part of the C&S; Buying team.
Prioritize and schedule inbound loads to ensure highest customer service level and distribution efficiency.
Review all inbound loads as reported using the Mainframe system on a daily basis; checking for service level needs, warehouse inventory need and distro/ad needs.
Communicate all inbound load push recommendations to the buyers and pick-up due date changes to the transportation department.
Review and process a variety of reports on a daily basis to ensure space availability, customer and facility needs and to identify any potential problems.
There may be other duties assigned and needed by your supervisor.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to prioritize.
Outstanding customer service skills.
Ability to make decisions with knowledge of position available.
Team player.
Sound computer skills in MS Word and Excel.
