C&S; Wholesale Grocers is looking for an individual that works with the business unit and IS personnel in the Development & Support area of the Company's business processes and strategies in assigned functional areas.
This individual will be accountable for independent initiatives in facilitating information gathering, structured documentation and presentation of findings to all levels of management.
The Oracle Functional Business Analyst will conduct analyses of functional business processes and functional requirements and participate in the development of business cases in support of process changes and/or IS projects. This individual will collaborate and communicate with mid-level management within the context of their responsibilities.
The Oracle Functional Business Analyst will be the functional IS resource for defining user requirements, testing, and implementing business solutions including configuring systems. This individual will also be responsible for support and training of business users.
Deliver complex IS work products at agreed deadlines.
Subject matter expert associate with content, processes and procedures, defining detailed requirements, analyzing the business needs and validating solutions with the client
Maintains focus on process analysis with an understanding of technical problems and solutions and the relationship to the business environment
Business process mapping
Lead solution demonstrations and workshops
Functional gap analysis
Participates in developing the business rationale to provide a concrete solution recommendation
Facilitate the gathering of functional requirements
Configuration of systems
Testing requirements
End user functional support
Experience & Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
5-8 years of relevant prior experience beyond formal education (detailed below)
Experience with defining business requirements
Project management experience
Technology Requirements, Skills & Strengths:
Functional and technical experience of Oracle EBS (R12) AP, AR, GL
5-8 years of experience with hands-on working experience with financial management; experience with General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable. Knowledge of other finance modules also required. Knowledge of non-finance modules considered a plus.
Highly competent in all aspects of Oracle financials
Configuration expertise of Oracle EBS
End to end business process design and analysis
Excellent oral and written communication
Self-motivated. The position requires some supervision but works independently on most tasks.
