Summary:
Supervise the Cash Operations team responsible for processing payments received for Commercial Insurance. May lead several departmental projects to enhance process and procedures. Require broad knowledge of accounting and receivables practices and proven decision-making skills.
Responsibilities:
Supervise team of Financial Operations Representatives to ensure timely and accurate processing of cash.
Provide technical expertise for subject area. Provide training for others on subject matter as needed. Maintain expertise and keep abreast of market and technology changes.
Supervise staff members, performing all aspects of performance management including coaching, developing and motivating.
Participate in projects that promote continuous improvement. Develop business requirements and test plans. Conduct testing and coordinate changes needed and sign-offs.
Represent department in meetings with other areas, identify new service needs and requirements.
Ensure proper service level is maintained for both internal and external customers.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business (or equivalent accounting experience).
Typically requires more than 3-5 years of related treasury, financial, and/or accounting experience.
Will possess demonstrated leadership ability through the continued mentoring, training and advising of Financial Operations Representatives.
