Job Description: AS STATED IN NUP 64, NEW HIRES AND EMPLOYEES WHO HAVE TRANSFERRED INTO A POSTED POSITION ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN IN THEIR CURRENT POSITION FOR ONE YEAR BEFORE APPLYING FOR A SYSTEM JOB POSTING. IN ADDITION, EMPLOYEES NEED TO INFORM THEIR SUPERVISOR WHEN APPLYING FOR A POSTED JOB. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: A high school diploma with specialization in business courses or the equivalent and four to five years of related administrative experience is required. Five or more years of experience is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel are also required. Experience in Microsoft Powerpoint and Access is preferred. Experience in Lotus Notes, MIMS, COLT, PSNH Outage Management systems, and the NU Work Management system are highly desirable. Attention to detail is critical. Skilled typing is required (45 wpm). Applicant may be required to successfully pass an administrative aptitude and typing test. Qualified candidates must submit a resume with their application. POSITION
Responsibilities: Individual will perform a variety of secretarial and administrative duties, often of a confidential nature, requiring initiative, judgment, and a broad knowledge of the Company policies, practices, and procedures. The ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptions, tight deadlines and changing priorities is essential. Individual must possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at various levels, both within and external to NU. Individual will have storm restoration and emergency assignments.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
