Manufacturing Cost Accountant
Our client located just outside of Peterborough NH is looking for a Manufacturing Cost Accountant. This is a direct hire opportunity that will have you working Monday - Friday 8am-5pm and offers $120k+/year depending on experience. This position has the option for a hybrid work environment once trained. Your duties as the Manufacturing Cost Accountant:
Manage and maintain product cost standards Track and analyze data to evaluate operations Develop and implement cost accounting for standard costs and improvements, and manufacturing variances Automation of cost and production models Identify opportunities for cost savings Sales and gross margin reporting Develop policies/procedures for accurate inventory reporting Collaborate with management in cost related decision making Other related duties as assigned Your qualifications for the Manufacturing Cost Accountant position:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance 5
years manufacturing cost accounting experience Excellent computer skills including understanding of financial and ERP software Strong understanding of GAAP and financial analysis Ability to understand and explain cost drivers Ability to create and implement accounting policies and procedures Excellent professional written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills Must be able to adapt to shifting priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent management, analytical, and problem-solving skills We are here to help!
