The VP, Total Rewards will be responsible for providing strategic leadership to the total rewards structure by designing, developing and implementing compensation and benefit programs and related services across the organization in alignment with the company culture, mission, and values.
Ensure compensation, benefits, and HRIS programs support the organization's strategic direction and goals
Evaluate, develop, and implement total rewards policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with corporate policies and with all governmental regulations
Direct the design, development, implementation, and administration of general pay practices, base pay salary structures, short-term incentive plans, and long-term incentive plans to ensure compensation piece of the total rewards program is internally equitable and externally competitive
Oversees the planning, evaluation, and determination of cost effective and competitive solutions to group health & welfare and retirement plans for the corporation
Negotiate with vendors to ensure the corporation receives competitive bids for total rewards plans
Oversee the design, development, implementation, and administration of the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) function
Preparation and presentation of total rewards programs to the Board of Directors
Proactively supports the corporate strategic plan and initiatives through the research, design, implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of rewards programs
Present solutions to senior executive management regarding potential conflicts with the total compensation philosophy relative to pay programs being delivered
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or other related field. MS/MBA in Human Resources, or finance preferred
Minimum of 10 years related experience
Diversified Human Resources background with solid understanding of compensation and benefits
Demonstrated ability to establish and achieve strategic goals
Solid foundation in the analysis, understanding, and knowledge of business financials
Effective communication (verbal and written), negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to be influential and establish positive working relationships across the organization
Certification in Compensation (CCP) and Benefits (CEBS or CBP) preferred

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
