Requirements:
oUsing Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) to integrate other systems with Hyperion planning module used for Budgeting and Forecasting.
oUnderstands the business processes, how the application supports the business processes and applies this knowledge to best solve problems
oEmploy knowledge of Essbase to facilitate better deployment of Planning, application security and other interface tools.
oThorough knowledge of end user tools including Smart view, OBIEE and Essbase Add-in for Excel
oFive years of Experience with oracle Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Financial Reporting, Hyperion shared services, Hyperion workspace.
oDemonstrated knowledge of both native security and shared services security.
oExperience in Hyperion System 9 implementation or support.
oProven experience in administration of Hyperion System.
oExperience in automation, batch scripting, Shell scripting and MaxL.
oExperience in ODI interface design and build.
oExperience with Essbase BSO and ASO cubes.
oProficiency in Essbase Excel and Smart View.
oExtensive financial process and functional knowledge (preferred).
oGraduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor degree (Masters Preferred) in Computer science, Information systems.

Responsibilities:
oServe as point person for Finance-Hyperion/OBIEE IT projects by understanding requirements, delegating tasks to other teams, prioritizing work and reviewing results.
oDevelop, Implement and maintain ASO, BSO cubes, Outlines, dimensions, loading data, calculating data and aggregation techniques.
oImplement OBIEE reporting as we migrate to Oracle EBS
oDevelop complex rule files to adjust mainframe feeds for data loading, dimension building and modified existing rule files.
oDevelop new calc scripts according to business requirements and modified the existing scripts to reduce the calc run time.
oAs Hyperion Planning & EssbaseAdministrator, performs all month-end/Quarter-end/year-end close processes needed in the system to report timely and accurate financial statements, forecasts and budgets.
oUnderstand dependencies and interrelationships between functional components of Hyperion Planning among forms, business rules, calculation scripts, variables and Essbase databases.
oAutomating manual operations using shell, PERL, MaxL scripting languages, i.e., Daily, weekly maintenance.
oProviding ongoing support of the environment by developing processes and executing object migrations, security and access privilege setup, and performance monitoring.
oDevelop new reports, large books, and batches according to the business requirement and automated the batch scheduling and report delivery using Hyperion and/or OBIEE
oProvide assistance to the business for annual budget and forecast processes.
oEnsure Production environment stability and provide continued support
