Job Description: AS STATED IN NUP 64, NEW HIRES AND EMPLOYEES WHO HAVE TRANSFERRED INTO A POSTED POSITION ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN IN THEIR CURRENT POSITION FOR ONE YEAR BEFORE APPLYING FOR A SYSTEM JOB POSTING. IN ADDITION, EMPLOYEES NEED TO INFORM THEIR SUPERVISOR WHEN APPLYING FOR A POSTED JOB. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: A Bachelor's degree in engineering or business administration or the equivalent and ten years of experience managing groups in distribution or related activities is required. Demonstrated field operations and line operations leadership experience is also required. An understanding of safety rules and work practices is a must. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES : Individual will manage area customer operations to ensure safe and reliable service to PSNH customers. In addition, individual will: manage timely and efficient restoration of electric service; manage and direct safe, reliable and efficient area operations; manage area O&M; and capital program budgets; ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations and with Company policies and procedures; interact with customers, community officials and the public at large; coordinate planning and project engineering including service reliability, quality of service; serve on-call and during emergency restoration; coordinate training for skills development and enhancement; champion safe work practices and procedures; champion organizational and cultural changes; achieve and influence results, including improved efficiencies, through others both those internal and external to the reporting unit; manage environmental compliance in the assigned area; and maximize the efficiency and productivity of the work force. This position is being simultaneously posted internally and externally.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
