In the role of Transportation Rep II, you are part of the Transportation team that ensures the smooth flow of product delivery and pick up for ES3 and C&S; Wholesale Grocers
Schedule pickup of fleet back-haul orders with vendors
Coordinate tender/accept/tracking process of inbound loads with 3rd party carriers
Track, reschedule, and reconcile inbound orders
Provide status updates on inbound orders
Update and monitor inbound loads in Manhattan Transportation Planning & Execution System
Other duties as assigned
Success in this position requires development and maintenance of strong working relationships with vendors, buyers, carriers and dispatchers
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in fast paced environment on multiple tasks.
Strong attention to detail.
Basic computer skills, Excel preferred.
